TaskCircle is committed to maintaining safe, trusted communities. Here's how we handle safety issues and what to expect if a problem is reported.

What happens when theft or misconduct is reported

When a report of theft, fraud, harassment, or other misconduct is filed, TaskCircle takes the following steps:

  1. Immediate account suspension. The accused user's account is suspended pending review. During suspension, the user cannot log in, claim jobs, post jobs, or send messages.
  2. Incident review. TaskCircle reviews the report, including any evidence provided by both parties and platform records (messages, payment history, job status).
  3. Referral to administrators. The incident is referred to the relevant school, community organization, or neighborhood administrator associated with the reported user's community. The administrator may take additional action per their organization's policies.
  4. Resolution. Based on the review, the accused account may remain suspended, be permanently banned, or be reinstated. Both parties will be notified of the outcome.

How to report a problem

If you experience or witness theft, misconduct, unsafe behavior, or any violation of our community standards, please report it immediately using one of the following methods:

  • Email: safety@taskcircle.com
  • In-app: Use the job messaging system to document the issue, then email us with the job link and a description of what happened.

When reporting, please include as much detail as possible: the job in question, the other user involved, what happened, and any supporting evidence (screenshots, photos, etc.).

If you believe you are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services (911). TaskCircle is not an emergency service.
